My session with Tayllor & Isabella was actually in 2 parts.  The first go-round, it was the kind of weather you don't want to have: cold, muddy, damp, and oh yeah, raining.  And not just a measly little drizzle.  This was "sit in the car and keep staring at the mountains for a miracle" kind of rain!  They were troopers for as long as they could be and I finally decided to call it quits when they were lookin' pretty miserable.  I kept an eye on the weather and we rescheduled for a day that was supposed to be warm and sunny.  And wind gusts of near 85mph near Boulder.  But we decided to go for it and luckily, the winds subsided a little (only about 35mph now!) and it's amazing how much happier kids look in pictures when they're not freezing to death!

Recently, I got to shoot the engagement session for one of my winning couples: Ashley & Cameron. The weather was great and we started off around Coors Field, followed up with some time around Commons Park and finally to a nearby ball field to meet up with their adorable kids, A & J. A was very charismatic and was a natural with the camera while little J was so calm and just took everything in...including some handfuls of dirt!
